A Little Bit About

Our Chef James Coward has been cooking since the tender age of 13 working at his uncle’s bakery in Highcliffe whilst still at school. James had to choose a career that he could dedicate his life into that know computer or robot could take over, so I chose to become a chef. Over the following years, James carried out his training at Colledge, France, London and many other quality rated establishments in England, London and in France (view my CV for further information)

Following that James at the tender age of 23 chose with the support of his parents to open Les Bouviers’ at Merley Wimborne. Les Bouviers moved from Merley to Arrowsmith Road in June 2006.

During this time at Arrowsmith Road Les Bouviers has grown and grown to the successful business it is today.

James has over 38 years of cooking and baking mastered his craft to the level of outstanding cooking that he achieves today. Everything is homemade from ice-creams, sorbets to petits fours. James has over his time of Les Bouviers cooked and served 1,000’s of wonderful, memorable meals to his customers.

James has a passion for training new and young chefs in his craft but also enjoys going to local schools and showing the children the art of food preparation and cooking.

Cooking classes are something that has been asked of James time and time again, so watch this space James’ training & cooking classes will be coming soon.
